Description
It is a house with four floors:
On the central floor, at the level of the Mayor Street, there is the lobby, the dining room with a great balcony that has views over the Valley of the Segre, the sitting room with a chimney and a bathroom fully reformed and equipped. The kitchen is incorporated to the dining room through a window, wich enables to do "family cooking". From the dining room two staircases come out; one goes up to the upper floor an the other, half hidden behind a small door, goes down to the lower part of the house, which has an exit to a narrow street situated at a lower level.
On the upper floor there is another bathroom, and three rooms, two of them for couples and the third equipped with three individual beds. The windows and the balconies of the rooms make the whole floor to be very luminous.
Finally, the lower floors offer original spaces that show the antiquity of Cal Valeri and dozens of corners and spaces that delight the younger ones. On the first floor going down, the antique wine cellar, now renovated and transformed into a sitting room separated from the exterior. This room is decorated with seats and a big packing box that was used to transport a tapestry from the other side of the world, and a collection of glass bottles with all kinds of forms and colours. This place is ideal to remember old times with the most beloved ones while, for example, one has a set of playing cards in one hand, and only a small window remembers us that the time still continues moving on outside.
If we continue going down the stairs we find another auxiliary dinning room, ideal to enjoy with many people that barbecue that we have cooked in the courtyard, which is outside, just in front, where we can also take the sun and admire the landscape of the valley of the Segre.
On the same floor behind a small wooden door we find another surprise: a place where the wine used to be stored, two-floors high, perfectly preserved, where now the firewood is stored.
